Factory TURAS in Poland has been active as a producer for 54 years. The company produces parts for AGD, automotive, heating systems and agriculture. Elmia Subcontractor Connect has helped the company to initiate new business relationships with suppliers for many years and they are looking forward to this year’s matchmaking event!
Miroslaw Reikowski, Marketing manager at Fabryka Turas, is planning on visiting Elmia Subcontractor on-site and participates as a buyer in the matchmaking event. We asked him what his expectations are.
Can you tell us what it is that you are looking for? What is important for you with a supplier?
- We are looking for suppliers of the materials for the current production and for the new projects that are being implemented in our factory next year. We are also looking for new suppliers of standard punches and dies, springs, gas springs etc. for the tool production. We have received increased orders for tool production and we are therefore looking for cooperation with new tool shops.
Important for us is that the suppliers are competetive, offer high quality services and are transparent in their business activities.
Why participate in matchmaking Subcontractor Connect? What do you think about the short, pre-booked meetings?
- We have participated four times in Elmia Subcontractor. Our experience is that matchmaking event brings the most “at point” meetings with companies that are fitting into the portfolio of our suppliers. The pre-booked meetings help us to rate the potential business partner and evaluate the possibility of cooperation. The meetings are very informative and have helped us to initiate business relationship with some of the firms we have talked with.
Will you visit the trade fair Elmia Subcontractor 2021 on-site?
- Yes, we are planning to visit the trade fair Elmia 2021. We value the personal contact with the representatives of the companies we would like to start working with.
